Calling the Sabre Pride to Represent!

The SBHAA is announcing the launch of the first ever Sabre Class Delegation. We welcome any and all Sabre Alumni who would like to serve as a delegate for their graduating class to participate. The goal would be to have a minimum of 2-3 delegates per alumni class. These delegates would then work together to assist the SBHAA in the following areas:
- Represent their class at Sabre Class Delegation meetings
- Alumni class outreach
- Helping maintain current contact information for their class
- Assisting with reunions
- Spread the word on Sabre Alumni events
- Assisting with the Sabre Pride Campaign which includes fundraising for the Father Dennehy Memorial Fund, the SBHAA, and special projects at the school
The idea of the Sabre Class Delegation is still relatively new. The SBHAA welcomes the input of all delegates on how to enhance the mission of this important initiative. Going forward, the SBHAA Board of Directors will meet periodically with the Delegation to discuss matters affecting the school and alumni. The goal is to work together in supporting the Sabre family while having each class represented in alumni efforts. Delegates will also have the opportunity to join the SBHAA Board of Directors in the future if they are interested.
The first meeting of the Delegation will take place on Monday May 3rd, 2010 at 7pm at St. Brendan High. At this meeting, delegates will have the opportunity to hear more on the purpose of the Delegation, what it means to be a delegate, how to sign up, and hear more on the future plans of the Alumni Association.
